Actor/producer John Stamos continues to find success in many different areas of the entertainment world. Fresh from a guest spot on "Friend's," John is starring in the indie feature Knots. He joins Tara Reid and Annabeth Gish in the comedy, which follows six, sophisticated
 
New Yorkers whose intertwining lives lead each to discover that juggling love, sex and friendship can be extremely trying. John plays Cal Bachman, a successful and self-obsessed fashion
 
Photographer who maintains his fidelity to his girlfriend (played by Reid) whenever it is "convenient."
 
John also recently completed work on a short film called I Am Stamos, a dark comedy about a character actor, played by Robert Peters ( Ocean's Eleven, In The Line of Fire), whose wish to be a leading man comes true when he magically begins to photograph as John Stamos...provoking the unholy wrath of Stamos.
 
Last year, John returned to the theatre and starred as the "Emcee" in the hit Broadway production of "Cabaret." The New York Post said of his performance, "The latest incarnation is John Stamos, who makes him attractive, grotesque, vicious, hard-edged and - beneath all the campery and giggles - stealthily heterosexual."
 
Through his Warner Bros. based production company, John currently has many television projects in the works. Most recently, he is producing a remake of the 1941 classic "Meet John Doe" for ABC. His producing credits also include an Emmy nomination in 2000 for co-producing the ABC miniseries "Beach Boys: An American Family."
 
Not limiting himself to behind-the-camera work, in 2001 he appeared in the ABC romantic comedy "Thieves" about a pair of master thieves who become covert government agents. USA Today said of his performance, "the real revelation here is Stamos." As a result of his return to television, John was voted "The Sexiest Come Back" in People's Sexiest Men Alive issue. On the big screen, he made his entry into the independent film world in the black comedy Dropping Out which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2000 and in the contemporary romantic comedy Grownups.
 
John's career has spanned over 20 years. He started on the hit soap ~General Hospital~ and later segued to the popular ABC series "Full House". After a successful tour on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," he appeared in a variety of MOW's, namely "The Marriage Fool" opposite Walter Matthau and Carol Burnett. John has also displayed his musical talents over the past 15 years while touring with "The Beach Boys."
 
John currently lives in Los Angeles.
